TALKING CIRCLES
The Talking Circle is a Native tradition.
Everyone can benefit from the power of the circle.
It helps remove negative feelings
and restore the feelings of pride and self esteem
which everyone deserves.
Being in the circle is bonding and sharing.
All who share in the power of the circle
help themselves and those involved.
Occasionally guests and Elders are invited
to come and share their knowledge or teachings.
We welcome all that come to the circle.
Within a circle setting we can come together to talk about
our struggles and achievements of our daily lives.
These guided circles show how native spirituality and sharing can help.
Talking Circles are a Traditional practice which encourage the healing process.
In this space everyone is equal as we are all on our life's journey.
We believe everyone in our circle can help us and, in turn, we can help them.
Talking Circles teach us how reaching out to our community can benefit and
bring rewards to ourselves as well as others.
Talking Circles are often held in Women's Gatherings, Men's Gatherings
and Youth Gatherings.
